We know that for some of you this is a busy "day before"—the day before trick or treating, the day before the costuming, the day before you can sneak pieces of candy from the basket you have by the front door for Halloween!
Soooooo, we thought we'd provide a little candy of our own—eye candy! We love this season want to highlight some of our wonderful, fall-themed products! We're also sharing a special fall treat that's quick and easy to make and share with friends and family. It'll follow the shop features.

And now for a satisfying treat you can make from Halloween all the way through Thanksgiving (but really all year round)! They work well in any size muffin pan, but if you don't have time, the recipe can also be baked as bread.
Susie's Pumpkin Muffins (or bread) 3 1/2 c. flour 3 c. sugar 1 c. oil 2/3 c. water 4 eggs 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin 1 1/2 t. salt 2 t. baking soda 1 T. cinnamon 1/2 t. nutmeg 1/4 t. ground allspice 1/4 t. ground cloves 2 c. chocolate chips (optional)
Preheat oven to 400 for muffins (350 for bread). Mix all ingredients together, scraping sides half way through. Pour batter into 2 greased, 9x5 loaf pans or greased or lined muffin tins. Makes about 30 DELICIOUS muffins or 2 loaves.
Bake muffins for 15–20 min. (bread @ 350 for 70 min.). I always like to check a couple of minutes early, just to ensure that they aren't overdone. Nothing's worse than dry muffins or bread!
